96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2016 les Preuses from Domaine Fèvre is another brilliant young wine. The bouquet shows all of the mineral complexity of this great terroir, wafting from the glass in a refined mix of grapefruit, pear, white flowers, lime zest, a hint of beeswax and a glorious bath of limestone minerality. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, long and very solid at the core, with stunning backend mineral drive, lovely focus and grip and a very long, very pure and dancing finish. 2023-2065. (Nov/Dec 2017)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2016 Chablis Grand Cru les Preuses has a fresh and enticing bouquet with apple blossom, lime flower, granite and wet limestone aromas that really get to the core of Chablis. Of the six grand crus from Fevre, this might be my favorite. The palate is well balanced and very harmonious. The acidity is well judged and it possesses great elegance and femininity. One of the best wines from the domain this year, it comes recommended. Drink: 2020-2035. (Aug 2017)"

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "[$125 list] The 2016 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru has opened wonderfully since I tasted it in bottle: citrus lemon, Vervane tea, dill, ginger and yellow plum aromas bursting from the glass, an underlying spiciness developing in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a spicy opening, lemongrass and touches of ginger, very open and generous with dried honey, curry leaf and a touch of ginger towards the feisty finish. Excellent. Drink: 2019-2035. (Aug 2018)"

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from two parcels of vines that total 2.55 ha, or 22% of the entire appellation). A moderately exotic nose consists of a potent mix of fennel, oak, menthol, mineral reduction and essence of pear. There is excellent density and power to the medium weight plus flavors that still manage to come across as refined thanks to hugely long, balanced and sappy finish. This classy effort needs a few years to develop more depth but the material is present for that to happen. Drink: 2023+. (Oct 2018)"

93 points William Kelley (Decanter): "The Preuses is also nicely classic in 2016, wafting from the glass with notes of citrus oil, flowers, wet stones, sea breeze and a touch of crème pâtissière. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, elegant and texturally refined, with an assertive seam of minerality and a surprisingly generous core of succulent fruit, finishing with good cut and grip. Drinking Window: 2019-2027. (Oct 2017)"
