97 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Wine Enthusiast): "A subtle nose on this wine evokes chalk made moist with ripe Amalfi lemon juiciness. The palate plays these twin notions off each other in a subtle, fresh way, despite the concentration and depth. This wine is cool and zesty at its core but generous and lightfooted at the surface. Allow this to calm down and come forth with its compelling core. Drink by 2040. (Dec 2020)"

97 points La Revue du Vin de France: "With a high proportion of very old vines, Les Clos remains a wine to hold; with its great volume, its sunny but nuanced character, it should stand the test of time unscathed. (2021)"

95-97 points Jasper Morris, MW: "The holding comprises 2.5 ha planted between 1947 and 1952 and all still in great condition. Pale lemon colour. The nose is restrained but you are immediately in the presence of majesty. This has the most volume of all but is not the easiest to see. It has more flesh than Les Preuses, along with a different but equal mineral vitality to Côte Bouguerots The two together make something exceptional! Tasted: May 2019."

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2018 les Clos from Domaine Fèvre is yet another absolutely beautiful example of the vintage. The bouquet is pure, precise and already gorgeously complex, offering up scents of pear, apple, beeswax, spring flowers, a very complex base of chalky minerality and a topnote of oyster shell. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very precise on the attack, with a great core of fruit, stellar minerality and a very long, very racy and complex finish. Great, great wine. 2028-2070. (Nov/Dec 2019)"

96 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "The Fèvre holdings in Les Clos are the envy of Chablis - seven parcels (five of them high on the slope) covering 4.14ha, with more than half over 60 years' old. This is a brilliant expression of the Grand Cru, marrying power and intensity with focus, balance and palate length. Stylishly oaked, with the concentration to age, it's a textbook white, showing white pepper and citrus flavours and notes of kelp and oyster shell. Drinking Window: 2021-2033. (Jul 2019)"

95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2018 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is another obvious success, mingling aromas of citrus and citrus confit with hints of beeswax, peach and pear in an inviting bouquet. Full-bodied, muscular and layered, it's textural and fleshy, with a deep and tightly wound core, racy acids and a chalky finish. This is a fine effort that will improve with bottle age, but it is a bit more front-loaded out of the gates than the very fine 2017 rendition. Drink: 2025-2045. (Jul 2020)"

95 points James Suckling: "A very ripe, dense Chablis, yet it maintains energy and focus. Crushed-stone and mineral highlights. Full-bodied and formed with a solid core of fruit and energy. Drink or hold. (8/25/20)"

94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a powerful, beautifully layered wine. Mint wild flowers and chamomile accents add complexity to the lemon confit fruit. Creamy and ample on the palate, the 2018 is an especially rich Clos endowed with notable textural depth and a real feeling of seamlessness. I loved it. (Jan 2020)"
