93 points Michael Edwards (The World of Fine Wine): "For the reflective buyer, a little more substance thanks doubtless to its fine clay soils. Aided by, and expressive of, its 40% oak fermentation, which has aerated and opened the wine. One for salmon trout or sea bass. (Issue 63; 2019)"

92-93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I was sorry to catch the Les Lys bottling here just having been filtered, as this is my favorite example of this lovely premier cru in the whole region. The 2017 shows lovely constituent components, with the nose delivering a mix of lime, green apple, flinty minerality, orange peel and a nice touch of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and racy, with a good core, excellent cut and grip and a long, promising and absolutely classic finish. I love the balance here. 2020-2045+. (Nov/Dec 2018)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Their plot is at the top of the vineyard, facing NNW. A richer white fruit after the white flowers of Vaillons. There is significant intensity to this, quite a lot of flesh here too, real weight yet still a lively finish. Tasted: May 2018."

92 points James Suckling: "Fresh spiced biscuits combine with lemon and grapefruit in a fresh mode. The palate has a very smooth and succulent feel with intensely delicious and fresh, lemon-laced peaches. Drink now. (8/14/19)"

90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A perfumed nose offers up cooler notes of iodine, floral, citrus and white orchard fruit and in particular pear. Yet again there is a plethora of Chablis elements present on the vibrant, intense and well-detailed medium weight flavors that are a lovely combination of richness and finesse, all wrapped in a moderately dry, balanced and sneaky long finish. Worth considering. Drink: 2021+. (Oct 2018)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "From one-hectare on the top of the slope, the 2017 Chablis Les Lys 1er Cru has an attractive orange blossom and beeswax scented bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is quite concentrated due to the relatively lower yield, touches of orange peel and pear with impressive weight on the finish. This lesser-known Premier Cru is well worth seeking out. Drink: 2019-2028. (Aug 2018)"
