Its intense aromas of Maraschino cherries, herbs and spices lead into flavors of spicy black fruit, earthy mushrooms and high-toned herbs, the firm but fine-grained tannins and nervy acidity centering the wine. A fine example of traditional Chianti Classico Riserva, this is pleasurable now but will be even better with a few more years in bottle. (Apr 2015)"
