A rarely seen vineyard uniquely sandwiched between Bonnes Mares, Les Fuees and Les Gruenchers. With the onset of global warming, upper slope vineyards in Chambolle such as these are becoming all the rage, as the shallower soils and cooler temps have brought once "tighter" wines into better balance.

Reduction currently dominates the nose but there is excellent intensity, freshness and concentration to the muscular medium weight plus flavors that offer very fine depth and persistence on the more obviously structured and borderline rustic finish.
