91-93 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Combottes, which is matured in 60% new oak, has a sensual, quite opulent bouquet with red cherries, hoisin and hints of soy developing in the glass. There is almost something Oriental here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, quite dense in the mouth with quite a grippy, structured finish that feels linear and correct. It will deserve another 4-5 years in bottle but it has the substance to deliver the goods. Drink: 2019-2035. (Dec 2016)"
90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from very old vines of an indeterminate age). Hints of green tea and rose petal are present on the very fresh red pinot fruit and spiced-scented nose. I very much like the seductive texture of the generously proportioned medium weight flavors that exhibit a subtle minerality on the moderately firm and vibrant finish. This should drink well after only a few years of bottle age if desired. Drink: 2023+. (Jan 2017)"
