Producer notes: "Velvety black fruit coats the palate like a fine pulp, while sensations of cracked pepper and pulverized schist stone provide an incisive, mouth-watering precision that can only be achieved from cool-climate Syrah planted in thin, rocky soil. The name, which could be translated to 'zealous, enthusiastic Art' is a play on words on the name of the lieu-dit where these vines grow: 'L'Arselié.' The vines planted on a plateau at 850 feet above sea level. Aged for 15 months in 5 to 15 year-old demi-muid."
