92 points Chris Kissack (Winedoctor): "This cuvée has been fermented to 14.57% alcohol, with 100% malolactic fermentation, and an élevage lasting eight months in barrel. It was bottled in June 2021. This has smoky aromatics with notes of lemon peel, grilled peach and pine forest. At the start of the palate this feels surprisingly relaxed, but it shows more tension in the midpalate, where it has fine grip, polish and energy. This suggestion of drive, minerality and acidity gives it a fresher style than I anticipated, one that persists into the finish. This has good quality, with a lower alcohol (even at 14.5%!) and more drive than I have seen in some other recent vintages. Perhaps there is even better potential here for the cellar. (Feb 2022)"
91 points Rebecca Gibb MW (Vinous): "This young Clos de la Coulée de Serrant is soft, round and mouthfilling. The fruit quality of the 2020 is concentrated and succulent without weight, but there's a light farmyardy character to the wine. Offering excellent grip and a fiery schist-derived finish. The alcohol (14.5%) is lightly warming but compared with some previous vintages, it's a little better judged. Drink: 2022-2042. (Sep 2022)"
91 points La Revue du Vin de France: "...A power chiseled by a racey bitterness. (2023)"
