94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Their holding is by the Combe Grisard with lots of stones. Gorgeous deep purple, fresher than the Charmes. A wealth of warmly ripe fruit with a spice or two, but not over the top. Perfumed, ripe cherries, an excellent concentration of fruit across the palate. The fruit is fresher and marries better with the tannins than Charmes. Spice from the stones. Interesting, complex wine, recommended! Tasted: November 2019."

96 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Latricières is the coolest of Gevrey-Chambertin's array of Grands Crus and really comes into its own in years like 2018 when the summer is like a furnace. This parcel is located close to Clos de la Roche in Morey-St-Denis at the foot of the Combe Grisard and has produced a saline, rose petal-perfumed Pinot Noir of balletic poise and elegance with just the right amount of underlying grip and focus. Drinking Window: 2023-2032. (Oct 2019)"

93-95 points Fine Wine Review: "Very good energy, red currant fruit, clear, pure. Good excitement — this cool climate did well in 2018. (11/25/19)"

92-95 points and 'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a large 1.21 ha parcel). There is very good freshness to the ripe but cool aromas of red and dark raspberry, forest floor, spice and a whiff of wood. The intensely mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors pack impressive punch and a taut muscularity along with outstanding depth, precision and sneaky good length on the firm, austere and built-to-age finale. This refined effort is terrific and very Latricières in character. Drink: 2038+. (Jan 2020)"

93-94 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Latricieres-Chambertin is normally one of my favorites at Faiveley, but the 2018 is currently not equaling the Charmes. The nose is brimming with raspberries and redcurrant, yet is somewhat backward. On the palate, cool, a bit reserved, and lacking some mid-palate charm or energy. As always, a very refined wine. And Latricieres does perform well in hotter years, so we will give it the benefit of the doubt for the moment. Drink from 2035. (11/14/19)"
