94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW: "13.5% and some whole bunches to assist the freshness further. Medium crimson purple. There is a grace and elegance to this wine that sits well with Echezeaux and also with my palate. A really exciting dancing fruit. Loving this perfume. Continues through on the palate with a little bit of orange blossom and primary red fruit. Very stylish. (Nov 2021)"

96 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "20% of the grapes are whole-cluster fermented, and the wine has bright blackberry and floral notes on the nose. The cool site imbues the wine with a lovely freshness and firm tannic structure. This will open with a few years in bottle and should age well. This is produced from 0.83ha of domaine-owned vines planted in the white marl soils of the Combe d'Orveaux (and labelled as such). Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (Nov 2021)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Faiveley holds 83 ares right in the Combe d'Orveau and next to Musigny. These vines are approaching 40 years old, and the 2020 juice saw 20% whole clusters. Despite that, the aromas are still rather restrained for now. Strawberries, raspberries and dried cranberries come through on the long finish. There's great finesse and solid density with refreshing lift. 2024-42. (2022)"

95 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$490 list] Aromatic and loaded with exotic spices, showing sandalwood, incense, strawberry, cherry and anise aromas and flavors. Simultaneously dense and elegant, with fine harmony and a terrific finish. Just keeps building and building on the palate to the long, kaleidoscopic conclusion. Best from 2026 through 2043. 17 cases imported. (3/1/23)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "'Starting with 2015 emphasising the name of the plot. I think we have one of the best plots, touching Prieur’s Musigny.' Here in the valley it’s like a half-pipe! A rare wine with a bit of WC here at Faiveley – about 20%. Very different. Here the nose has a very fine complexity but is not yet showing purity – it needs more time. Beautiful in the mouth – form without weight – the purity is here, framed with complexity – quite contemplative and hold such an impressive breadth of finishing flavour. That’s completely excellent! (Dec 2021)"
