95-98 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Pale lemon with a strong green component. Impressive nose, classical Charlemagne, chiselled and stony, no sign of oak, no over ripe fruit. Absolutely dances yet with such an impressive intensity, the ripeness of fruit is perfectly judged, Magical balance, intensity and persistence. Great job! Tasted: November 2019."

96 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "The Faiveley holdings add up to 0.87ha on variety of soil types and altitudes, but they are all comparatively cool. This was picked late as a result on September 4th and marries richness, weight and honeyed complexity with vibrant, mineral-edged acidity and scented oak. A textbook Corton-Charlemagne from a year that didn't lend itself to classic wines. Drinking Window: 2023-2030. (Oct 2019)"

93-96 points Fine Wine Review: "Great depth, pure, some peach. Perhaps more forward than usual at this stage, but so enticing. (11/26/19)"

94-95 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Corton-Charlemagne is showing its special virtues in 2018, with the strong minerality of the hill offering an excellent support for the rich vintage. The Faiveley Corton-Charlemagne is from the Ladoix side of the Corton hill – hence facing east. Despite the exposure, it’s showing a fine, saline, mineral note which helps expand and reveal the fruit via its ample backbone. There is a delightful citrus note – detailed and quite energetic. On the palate, excellent intensity. In warm years, Corton-Charlemagne can be a fine treat. Drink from 2032. Outstanding. (11/14/19)"

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Here the richness of the 2018 vintage truly comes out. The Faiveley team began to pick on August 27th; here, the assemblage of the young vines from the top of the Clos des Cortons with the older fruit has given a rich, dense wine with notes of ripe apple, butter, and hazlenut along with a bit of spice from the wood. The texture on the palate is dense but not heavy, and the final balance leads to a pleasantly lingering finish. Drinking Window: 2021-2034. (Mar 2021)"
