96 points Tim Atkin, MW: "The four parcels that make up the Faiveleys’ 0.87 hectares of Corton-Charlemagne encompass a variety of soil types and altitudes. This is a complex, waxy, pear and banana fruity white with creamy lees, bright acidity and considerable, restrained power. 2018-25. (Jan 2017)"

92-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .62 ha parcel in Le Rognet, which is in Ladoix). Notes of green apple, citrus zest, mineral reduction and soft floral nuances introduce powerful and punchy broad-shouldered flavors that possess a textured mouth feel before culminating in an almost painfully intense finish that goes on and on. This is really quite good and it's a wine that should be approachable after only a few years of bottle age yet reward up to a decade of cellaring. Drink: 2022+. (Jan 2018)"

93 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "($403 list) Pale, bright yellow. Pungent scents of crushed citrus peel, ginger and metallic minerality; higher-pitched and spicier than the Bâtard. At once ripe, smooth and sweet, offering a compelling combination of pliant texture, sweet stone fruit flavors and tactile stony minerality. The richness and fruit depth of the vintage come through loud and clear but this wine has perfect balancing minerality and ripe harmonious acidity for its sexy sweetness. Finishes very smooth and very long. Will this wine shut down in bottle or will it remain accessible? It certainly has the stuffing for at least mid-term aging. Drink: 2019-2027. (Sep 2017)"

93 points Wine Spectator: "A good dose of smoky new oak offsets the vibrant structure and stony apple notes in this intense white. Remains tightly wound and long, with the flavors persisting on the finish. Well-balanced from start to finish. Best from 2019 through 2029. 46 cases imported. (8/31/17)"
