94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Deep yellow and green. Quite accessible but suggesting depth, mandarins, citron confit and Jérôme Flous brings out his saffron suggestion again. This is very well balanced on the palate, just a light touch of toast, very good natural acidity, fine and stylish, keeps coming on. Normal yields here. Very long. This is a bit like an over exuberant puppy. Fun at a very high level Tasted: November 2020."

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "From a parcel of 0.51ha from the Monnot acquisition, this was fermented in cask (50% new), with a full complement of lees. It is less forward initially, but opens with time to show gratifying heft on the palate and discreet aromas of ripe apple, with notes of white flowers and hazelnut. There is a fair bit of wood here, but it is very well integrated and not obtrusive. Drinking Window: 2024-2049. (Oct 2020)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "That’s a very accommodating perfume – a beautiful invitation. A base of structure and more comfortable fruit surrounding it. The finish widening and widening – grand cru no doubt. Some oak today but that’s allowed at this level! Excellent Puligny GC! (Dec 2020)"
