Sourced from a 1.6ha parcel that's effectively her back garden, this was made with 75% whole bunches, as it usually is, and is effortlessly rich, layered and complete, with masses of perfume, deftly handled new wood, palate-coating tannins and a long, mineral-fresh finish. There is so much to like about this wine but I have been conservative with the score until I see it again in bottle. (Nov 2019)"

A really lovely and broad-ranging nose offers notes of green tea, cassis, poached plum, black cherry and discreet earth and spice wisps. There is outstanding richness to the full-bodied and velvet-textured flavors that coat the palate with sap before culminating in a stony and mocha-infused finish where a hint of wood appears. This is impressive but it's also impressively structured so note well that patience will be a virtue with this wine. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2021)"
