91-93 points William Kelly (Wine Advocate): "The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru unwinds in the glass with aromas of sweet cherries and red berries mingled with nuances of rose petals, orange rind, cinnamon and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, muscular and structured, with lively acids, fine concentration and a youthfully chalky finish. (Jan 2020)"
90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Rich dense purple with a fresh mulberry nose, sweet ripe fruit swamps the palate, just a touch of dry tannins at the finish, pretty sensual yet with some sternness of structure. Perhaps this needs a little longer to settle down, but on today’s showing I slightly prefer the village Morey. (Nov 2019)"
92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Domaine Dujac Morey “Premier Cru” is a really lovely example of the 2018 vintage. The bouquet delivers a fine combination of sweet dark berries, black plums, raw cocoa, a complex base of soil tones, woodsmoke, a touch of vanillin oak and a fine topnote of violets. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows off excellent mid-palate depth, with fine transparency and grip, refined tannins and a long, nascently complex and very well-balanced finish. Just a lovely wine in the making. 2027-2065. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru comes from Ruchots, Sorbets, Millandes and Charrières. It has a clean, precise bouquet of mineral-rich black fruit that is vivid and bright. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins and a fine bead of acidity. A little compact at the moment; the aftertaste needs more persistence to complete this Premier Cru. Drink: 2022-2042. (Jan 2020)"
