95-96 points James Suckling: "This is superb with excellent depth and richness. Full and layered. Cooked apples and pie crust. So complex and deep already. Fantastic barrel sample. (4/13/17)"

95 points Tim Atkin, MW: "A white that combines the power of a Corton-Charlemagne with the vivacity of a Puligny-Montrachet, this is a brilliant Clos des Mouches that tastes more like a 2014 than a 2015: subtle, elegant and floral on the nose, but with majestic concentration and focus on the palate. 2018-24."

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2015 Clos des Mouches Blanc is another absolutely beautiful wine. It is deep, pure and complex on both the nose and palate, and though it is a tad less racy than the superb Laguiche Morgeot, it is every bit as refined and stunning. The bouquet is a magical blend of pear, apple, iodine, chalky soil tones, plenty of Clos des Mouches smokiness, vanillin oak, hints of the pastry cream to come and a delicate topnote of acacia blossoms. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and complex, with excellent mid-palate depth, lovely brightness and bounce, very precise focus and a very long, vibrant and dancing finish. Superb juice. 2016-2035. (Nov/Dec 2016)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches has a superb bouquet with passion fruit, honeysuckle and jasmine, very expressive at this early stage with wonderful, vibrant fruit concentration. The palate is delicious now! Outstanding balance here, razor-sharp acidity, just a touch of lemongrass rubbing the citrus fruit up the wrong way and imposing superb tension on the finish. This is a Beaune Premier Cru that is punching well above its weight and comes recommended. Drink: 2018-2032. (Dec 2016)"

93 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Pale yellow with a green tinge. More minerally and complex on the nose than the '16, offering hints of iodine and wild herbs, along with a toasty nuance; a bit reduced, reticent and deep. Fat and ripe on the palate but surprisingly dry owing to lovely mineral-driven vinosity. The wine's stone fruit flavors are in the deep background today and it's distinctly deeper-pitched than the more floral 2016. Still, this very concentrated, layered wine manages to hide the heat of the vintage. Finishes pure and very long, with solid structure owing to its firm acid grip and a slightly phenolic note of grape skins. In this generally dry, warm growing season, the weather was brutally hot in July but the vines benefited from rainfall at "just the right time" in August, noted Véronique Drouhin. (The family begin harvesting during the first few days of September.) In fact, this wine is higher in acidity and lower in pH than the 2016 version and appears destined for a slow evolution in bottle. Drink: 2022-2035. (Feb 2019)"
