92 points Ian D'Agata (Vinous): "Bright deep red. Perfumed aromas of violet, cinnamon and red berries. Then rich, dense and suave but with lively acidity lifting the inner-mouth perfume of the red berry and red cherry flavor. Finishes long and floral. Lovely Cerasuolo di Vittoria with sneaky concentration and real refinement. Drink: 2019-2022. (Aug 2019)"
92 points James Suckling: "Vivid fruit here with crushed strawberries, cherries and lemons, following through to a medium body, firm but light tannins and a crisp finish. Drink now. (11/7/19)"
92 points Wine & Spirits: "[$30 list] A hot, dry 2017 summer required some emergency irrigation in Donnafugata’s Vittoria vineyards. They began harvest ten days earlier than usual and lost about ten percent of the crop, but the grapes that remained produced a delicious red packed with flavors of juicy plum, raspberry and rhubarb. Cool acidity freshens the flavors and draws them out on a long, harmonious finish. (Oct 2020)"
