90-92 points Fine Wine Review: "Michel Royer said that he began harvesting on 9 September... All red wines were destemmed. Quantities were 'normal' and overall a bit more than in 2018... The wines are good expressions for the vintage, offering pleasure for early and medium-term drinking. From the outstanding Fremières vineyard, this wine has more depth and energy to its dark fruits, and is a bit more tannic than the regular village Chambolle. There’s good grip here, too. (4/24/19)"
