94-96 points Fine Wine Review: "Intense, deep, pure, mineral, lemon, complex. A good example of why Le Cailleret is often considered a grand cru in quality, if not appellation. (11/24/19)"
94 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Located just to the north of Montrachet - and always written without an s at de Montille - the Cailleret parcel is planted with 65-year-old vines and has produced a delicious, vintage-defying wine in 2018. Lemon, lime and orange zest flavours are embellished by notes of aniseed, nutmeg and perfumed, well-integrated 30% new wood. Drinking Window: 2021-2028. (Oct 2018)"
91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru comes from their original purchase from 1993. It has a timid bouquet at first, demanding some encouragement from the glass, but eventually offering apple blossom and light chalky aromas. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, very malic and almost Chablis-like toward the lip-smacking saline finish. Very fine, but it will require more bottle age than the Folatière. Drink: 2022-2036. (Jan 2020)"
90-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "One of the most tensile, introverted whites in the cellar is the 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets, a medium to full-bodied, chalky and incisive wine redolent of pear, white flowers and crushed rocks. This shows plenty of potential, but it really needs more élevage to show all its cards. (Feb 2020)"
