93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Clear bright medium deep red purple. This has sheer class written all over it. Half whole cluster, entirely in the old vines and a third in the young. Sweetly ripe damson fruit with a velvet texture. Really very fine. (Oct 2019)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru has a more detailed, purer bouquet compared to Les Grands Epenots, offering vivacious dark cherry, raspberry and pomegranate notes and good mineralité. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition and finer tannins, and the calcaire soils plus the 30% whole cluster lend real definition and personality on the finish. Excellent. Drink: 2022-2042. (Jan 2020)"

91-94 points Fine Wine Review: "Finesse of Pézerolles, fine dark fruits, fine tannins (but they are present and show on the finish). Limestone, sandy soils. About 1/3 whole clusters — a lot of young vines in proportion to domaine’s holdings. Hasn’t been racked yet. (11/24/19)"

93 points Tim Atkin, MW.

91-93+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2018 Pommard 1er Cru Les Pezerolles was showing especially well, bursting from the glass with scents of orange rind, peonies, wild berries and cinnamon that's quite marked by its whole-cluster component. Medium to full-bodied, succulent and supple, it's ripe and enveloping, with supple, powdery tannins cloaked in a fleshy core of fruit. (Feb 2020)"

91-93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .45 ha parcel). Notes of smoky mineral reduction, lemon grass and acacia blossom precede highly energetic and more mineral-driven if less concentrated and powerful middle weight flavors that possess a highly refined and sophisticated texture. The tightly wound, youthfully austere and bone-dry finish is textbook Perrières and while it could use a bit more overall depth, the underlying material appears to be very promising. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2020)"
