98 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is another positively dazzling wine in Vincent Dauvissat's cellar. Powerful and deep, with seemingly endless layers of flavor that develop in the glass, the Clos is utterly mesmerizing from the first taste. Lemon confit, exotic white flowers and crushed rocks are some of the notes that develop. More than anything else, the Clos is a wine of total seduction and rapturous beauty. Don't miss it. Drink: 2025-2037. (Jan 2020)"

97+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2017 les Clos from the Dauvissat family, like the la Forest, does not show any out of the ordinary concentration from its frost-limited yields and is again, an utterly classical expression of this great terroir. The wine delivers great complexity and breed in its aromatic constellation of pink grapefruit, lemon, pear, flinty minerality, citrus peel, salty overtones and a topnote of spring flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and racy, with a great core, stunning mineral drive, racy acids and impeccable cut and balance on the very, very long and complex finish. Brilliant juice. 2027-2075. (Nov/Dec 2018)"

96-97 points James Suckling: "This has such completeness and very expressive long powerful palate with a wealth of ripe lemons, grapefruit, peaches and nectarines. So much in this glass of wine! The length, power, finesse and seamlessness is staggering. Such intense fruit with flesh and depth. Super long, intense and compelling. Light but intense. (8/31/18)"

96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "More muscular and enveloping than the Preuses, Dauvissat's 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos unfurls in the glass with aromas of ripe lemons, confit citrus, pastry cream and dried white flowers. On the palate, it's full-bodied, satiny and multidimensional, with a rich, structured but incisive profile and a long, chalky finish. If Les Preuses is the more intellectual of the two grand cru bottlings, Les Clos is the more direct and easy to understand. Drink: 2027-2055. (Aug 2019)"

93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW: " Pale with the faintest green tint, less welcoming than Preuses at this stage but still with great nobility. Much fresher fruit, green and tangerine, but still ripe, youthful exuberance, cutting edge. Its the wealth through the middle which counts. Tasted: May 2018."
