92 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "(malo in stainless steel tanks and a concrete egg, followed by seven months of aging in new French oak and acacia barrels of varying size) Limpid yellow. Ripe, oak-spiced orchard and pit fruit aromas are complicated by suggestions of fennel, vanilla and toasty lees. Sappy and impressively concentrated, offering appealingly sweet peach nectar, tangerine and poached pear flavors that show a youthfully tannic edge on the back half. Finishes very long and smoky, with a late touch of honey sweetening things up. Drink: 2021-2027. (Feb 2019)"
90 points Wine & Spirits: "[$52 list] This wine’s pale lemon flavors take on a silken texture through aging in large-format French oak. It’s warm, spicy and round, a clean white to pour with gambas al ajillo. (Dec 2017)"
