90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pretty pink purple, with a lightly reductive nose. Lively red fruit, clean fresh raspberry notes with a bit more stuffing behind. A Monthelie with finesse and notable persistence. It may be the ‘entry level’ Lafon red, but it would not be easy to find a finer Monthelie. (Oct 2020)"

The exceptionally rich, round and plump flavors are seductive while offering fine depth and persistence on the ever so mildly austere finale. This should be relatively accessible young. Drink: 2024+.
