93-96 points Fine Wine Review: "The Porusots is stony, mineral, and salty with steeliness, great tension, and length. This is a topflight example of the vineyard. (12/17/18)"
94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "CClear pale lemon colour with an impressive depth of fruit on the palate. This is beautifully balanced with an engaging mineral freshness at the back, no more than medium bodied but with a fine hand on the tiller and very persistent. Oak is certainly present but integrates well. (Jul 2021)"
94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2017 Poruzots is excellent from Domaine Lafon, as this wine too has the outstanding structural integrity and racy acids of a great vintage. The aromatic constellation this year is superb, wafting from the glass in a blend of apple, pear, iodine, passion fruit, a complex base of limestone minerality, hazelnuts and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, long and impressively bouncy with a great girdle of acidity. The core is just fine, the soil signature exemplary and the finish is long, complex and zesty. A gorgeous Poruzots! 2023-2055. (Nov/Dec 2018)"
92-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here too there is a whiff of petrol suffusing the cool green fruit, hazelnut, lemon rind and discreet matchstick whiffs. There is once again excellent richness to the broad-shouldered flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before concluding in a muscular, powerful and citrus zest-infused finish. This is excellent though note that as usual, this is built-to-age and a wine that going to need it. Drink: 2029+. (Jun 2019)"
