94 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Bouchères hails from two parcels totalling 0.3ha to the south of the village. The soils are comparatively light, but this has impressive depth and intensity, with some honey on the palate, stylish vanilla oak and a supple, mouthcoating finish. Drink: 2020-2025. (Oct 2018)"

92-94 points Fine Wine Review: "The Meursault-Bouchères is deep and floral in the nose. The mouth shows lightness and purity with no rusticity that one finds in some Bouchères. The wine shows freshness, salinity, and finesse. (12/17/18)"

93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Pure pale lemon colour, with a floral bouquet. Racy and with considerable weight of fruit, some yellow plum touches, excellent natural acidity and considerable persistence. Tasted: July 2021."

91-93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A cool, pure and airy nose is exceptionally pretty with its various white orchard fruit, hazelnut and citrusy wisps. The lilting and ultra-refined middle weight flavors possess a lacy mouth feel before terminating in a sneaky long and well-balanced mineral-inflected finale. This isn't especially complex at present but my sense is that more depth will almost certainly develop if it's allowed 6 to 8 years of bottle age. In a word, lovely. Drink: 2024+. (Jun 2019)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2017 Bouchères was the first vineyard picked in 2017, as the Lafon harvesting team was out here bringing in bunches on the morning of August 28th. IT was also already assembled in stainless steel tank at the time of my November visit. The wine is lovely this year, offering up a musky bouquet of apple, tangerine, passion fruit, chalky soil, hazelnuts, vanillin oak and a topnote of citrus peel. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and quite pure on the attack, with a good structural chassis, solid depth at the core and a long, racy and well-balanced finish that closes with good cut and grip. 2021-2050. (Nov/Dec 2018)"
