93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru comes from vines around 50 years of age. It boasts a stunning bouquet, the crushed wet limestone, subtle citrus peel and light smoky notes emerging from the glass with exceptional delineation. The palate is supremely well balanced, with beautifully integrated oak, hints of vanilla pod and almond flakes that complement the steeliness and focus on the finish. Just a brilliant wine. Drink: 2022-2045. (Jan 2020)"
92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "One of the highlights of the portfolio is the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Caillerets, a lovely wine that wafts from the glass with scents of citrus oil, oatmeal, crushed stones, green pear and a light touch of reduction. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and precise, with good depth at the core, lively acids and chalky structure. (Jan 2020)"
