95 points James Suckling: "The nose has very pure fresh-peach and mango aromas with a light, orange-marmalade layer. The palate has a beautiful array of fresh toffee and sweet ripe-peach and peach-custard flavors. Great balance, length and definition here. Drink or hold. (2/3/19)"

93-95 points Chris Kissack (Winedoctor): "From the Magrez stable, this wine has an alcohol of 14%, a residual sugar of 140 g/l and a total acidity of 3.8 g/l. It has a confit fruit concentration within the aromatics, along with a powdery mineral suggestion, all orange barley and citrus zest energy, plus a white peach purity. The palate is rich, poised, supple, with considerable weight from the outset, matched by delicious white peach, yellow peach and mango confidence, a honeysuckle perfume, and a vibrant acid freshness. This is very fresh, the obvious concentration more than matched by the acidity of the wine. A long, acid-fresh finish. A top result. (Apr 2017)"

94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Ripe peach, flowers, and honeyed citrus all emerge from the 2016 Clos Haut-Peyraguey, which has the vintage’s upfront, ripe, forward style front and center. It has beautiful purity of fruit and is already impossible to resist, yet it’s going to evolve nicely as well. Drink: 2019-2031. (2/28/19)"

94 points/'#22 Enthusiast 100 2019,' Wine Enthusiast: "Dominated by Sémillon, this rich, luscious wine has layers of ripe fruit and intense concentration. Wood aging has sustained the richness of the wine and not overshadowed the ripe honey, candied peel and hints of almonds. The wine will age for many years. Drink from 2025. Alcohol 13.5%. (May 2019)"

93 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Wine Advocate): "The pale lemon colored 2016 Clos Haut-Peyraguey reveals a veritable cornucopia of tropical notes—guava, mango and pineapple—with nuances of spiced pears, jasmine, fallen leaves and allspice plus a touch of acacia honey. The palate is elegantly styled with all those intense scents marrying beautifully into a perfumed restraint, finishing with a lively citrus lift. Drink: 2020-2040. (Mar 2019)"

93 points Peter Moser (Falstaff) (5/24/17).
