95 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "A standout 2021 Mosel GG! Stunning nose of peach and wild herbs with a touch of leesy youthfulness. Excellent concentration and a gracefulness that is rare with this vintage. So focused and finely nuanced, the fruit and wet stone minerality ripple over the palate. I love the delicate citrusy notes at the long, vibrant finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold. (12/13/22)"

94 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 15 22. The 2021er Marienburg GG Rothenpfad, as it is referred to on the main part of the label, was fermented spontaneously in traditional oak casks from fruit harvested in an iron-rich part of the Marienburg vineyard. It offers a most beautiful and finely flowery nose of minty herbs, licorice, smoke, lime tree, yellow peach, gooseberry, grapefruit, and thyme. It shows great precision and intensity on the palate, which is driven by spices and zesty elements. The finish is still slightly razor-sharp, something which needs to integrate into the wine before true greatness. 2026-2036. (Aug 2022)"

93-94 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "From 1.8 hectares with partly 80+-year-old vines, the 2021 Marienburg GG Rothenpfad is clear, darker-toned and flinty on the fresh and herbal nose, with ripe and intense, red-skinned fruit aromas and notes of broken slate. Lush and round on the palate, this is a mouth-filling, intense and juicy as well as saline Riesling with fine grip. Tasted as a sample at the domaine in July 2022. Drink: 2025-2050. (Aug 2022)"
