97 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2017 Pündericher Marienburg Riesling Felsterrasse is a beauty! It is intense and concentrated but still airy, floral, fine and elegant as a Mosel stereotype (with mirabelle aromas) on the nose. This is a rich, full-bodied and powerful Riesling with abnormally high concentration, intensity and lingering minerals that seem to be delivered by a long, quiet river. This is a big Riesling à la Unendlich. There is gorgeous finesse and grip on the long, intense finish that even displays licorice notes. Tasted in March 2019. Drink: 2020-2045. (Jun 2019)"

97 points Falstaff Guide: "Very closed fruit, almost completely focused on the stony minerality. Initially oily and creamy, then ultra-fine acidity takes over, very mineral with lots of extract. Subtle, yet powerful. (11/23/19)"

94 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "Smoke, stone and fusel oil are present on the nose, setting the decidedly mineral tone for this extended-élevage and late-released offering whose lees influence has engendered an alluringly creamy texture. But at the same time, there is a hauntingly rowan-like floral note, as well as intimations of apple, hazelnut, peach and peach kernel, all of which subsequently convene on a complex and superbly sustained finish that doesn’t forget Riesling’s first duty to refresh. Drink: 2019-2032. (Nov 2019)"
