90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune La Dominode 1er Cru has a much more backward, sulky bouquet compared to Les Jarrons, offering dark berry fruit and just a touch of flint that emerges with aeration. The medium-bodied palate displays a saline, almost briny opening. There is good density here, with tarry black fruit and that strong saline influence dominating the finish. A more cerebral Savigny. Drink: 2023-2035. (Jan 2019)"
