92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrières is similarly promising, mingling aromas of wild berries and cassis with notions of licorice, dark chocolate and spices. Medium to full-bodied, bright and chalky, with a tightly wound core, powdery tannins and a long, mineral finish, it's very true to type. (Jan 2021)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Another huge purple colour, with a full bouquet of very concentrated ripe dark raspberry fruit. While this certainly has aspects of being a high octane wine, there is a significant lift at the finish, the stones talking perhaps. 2019 was a particularly small crop here but the stones carry it through. (Nov 2020)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .60 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines). This too is aromatically cool and elegant with its pretty array of slightly more elegant essence of ripe red berry fruit aromas that reflects hints of spice, earth and wood. The succulent but decidedly punchy medium weight flavors brim with both minerality and dry extract that imparts a sappy texture to the beautifully well-delineated, powerful and serious finale. Patience absolutely required. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2021)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Perrières 1er Cru has a very intense and almost exotic bouquet of raspberry confit, fig and marmalade scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Slightly savory in quality, it delivers a gamy finish; it will be intriguing to see whether this remains after bottling. Drink: 2024-2038. (Dec 2020)"
