It recalls, as well, the Gaja’s family commitment meant to start a valuable project in Tuscany. 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, 10% Sangiovese. Mainly from the Castagneto Carducci area, planted on dark soils rich in clay and loam. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks and barrels. The elegance and roundness of Merlot and Syrah match with the essential rigor of Sangiovese. Harmonious and enjoyable wine from the very beginning, with an ageing potential of 8-10 years."
