93-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon colour. This is clean concentrated and chiselled, with all the intensity one could want but less obviously fleshy than the Perrières. Excellent acid balance behind, this is quite striking and with great potential. I love the overall balance as well as the intensity. (Oct 2023)"

92-95 points/'Sweet Spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a small .14 ha parcel). A background application of wood sets off exuberantly fresh and citrusy aromas of mostly spiced green apple and mineral reduction nuances. The super-sleek, concentrated and powerful larger-scaled flavors possess a caressing mouthfeel while flashing a borderline pungent minerality on the moderately austere, sappy and beautifully balanced finale. This bone-dry and wonderfully classy effort is also built to repay extended keeping. Again, if you can find it, buy it. Drink: 2032+. (Jun 2024)"

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This superb wine boasts detailed, complex aromas ranging from lime leaf to passionfruit with spice, smoke, and salty minerality accents. The texture has a vibrant tension that enlivens the wine and drives it to a lingering finish. The grapes are from 0.14 hectares below the Chevalier Montrachet belonging to the Château de Puligny; they are gently pressed and fermented in cask. The wine should be ready to drink in three to five years and will show well over two decades. Drinking Window: 2028-2055. (5/30/23)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Caillerets 1er Cru has a very detailed and mineral-driven bouquet that unfolds in the glass. Hints of sea spray and oyster shell loiter in the background, distinguishing this from Bouzereau's Meursault's. The palate is well-balanced, with a touch of reduction on the entry. Slightly flinty, there is a sharpness and clarity to this Puligny that I admire. Likewise, it is persistent on the finish. Excellent. Drink: 2025-2048. (Jan 2024)"
