Racy, zippy and chiselled, it's one of those wines that reflects its proximity to Puligny-Montrachet, finishing with notes of aniseed and citrus and stylishly integrated 15% new wood. The palate is taut and fresh on the entry, displaying a little more tension than the Gouttes d’Or, and demonstrates pleasing mineralité and complexity on the finish. Wonderful harmony here.
