Offering up aromas of citrus oil, wild yeast, orange zest, Asian pear and wet stones, it's medium to full-bodied, taut and concentrated, with racy acids and a long, pungently mineral finish. White pepper, green orchard fruit, crushed rocks and flowers lend nuance. La Bolorée has a track record of aging beautifully. I am deeply interested in seeing where the 2017 goes in the coming years.
