90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2012 les Bourgeots was one of the few 2012 reds that had already been bottled, as its mise was a bit more than two weeks prior to my visit. The wine showed quite well, offering up a pure and minerally bouquet of red and black cherries, red currants, stony soil tones, woodsmoke, spices and a touch of currant leaf in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and beautifully structured, with a rock solid core, ripe tannins and a long, tangy and properly reserved finish. Fine juice in the making. 2020-2045+. (Mar/Apr 2014)"
