The bouquet is pure, young and classic in profile, offering up scents of red and black currants, pigeon, a fine base of dark soil tones, woodsmoke, espresso and lovely touch of Savigny spices in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and potentially very elegant in profile, with a lovey core, ripe, well-integrated tannins and a long, focused and very promising finish. 2025-2065. It has an engaging, very pure and slightly floral bouquet with red cherries, bilberry and briary scents, a cold stone aroma tucked underneath. The palate is very harmonious with very fine tannin, the whole bunch lending a slight earthiness toward the finish that lingers. This is such an impressive wine in the context of the growing season.
