92 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): "Billaud makes this from a blend of both his own and brought-in grapes. From a number of different sites around Vaillons, this shows some of the classic floral, perfumed notes of the appellation. It has a fine line of acidity and very pure, crystalline character to the fruit. A generous Premier Cru which is drinking well now but has the structure to last. Drinking Window: 2021-2027. (Oct 2020)"
89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from Vaillons proper). This too is aromatically quite cool with its equally restrained aromas of oyster shell, floral, lemon rind and spiced tea. The generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors possess both a beguiling succulence and good minerality, all wrapped in a bitter lemon-inflected finale. This delicious effort is a 2019 that is likely to drink well on the earlier side, yet it should also be capable of reward 4 to 7 years of cellaring. Drink: 2024+. (Nov 2020)"
