93 points James Suckling: "Very attractive, freshly sliced strawberries and red cherries with a fresh-herb edge and a sleek, smooth build on the palate that holds gently creamy fruit, in the blueberry and dark-cherry zone. Supple, layered tannins and fresh strawberries to close. Drink or hold. (1/30/20)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "Plump and polished, yet refined, showing expressive raspberry, rose petal and orange blossom flavors, with minerally undertones that build structure and black tea details toward the fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2028. 2,503 cases made. (11/15/20)"

92 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Light, bright ruby. Deeply perfumed aromas of spice-accented red and blue fruit, candied rose, incense and smoky minerals show fine clarity and energetic lift. Silky and pliant in the mouth, offering juicy raspberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors that spread out slowly through the midpalate. Fine-grained tannins shape a persistent, floral-tinged finish, which leaves a sappy red berry preserve note behind. Drink: 2022-2027. (Aug 2020)"

92 points and 'Editors' Choice,' Wine Enthusiast: "Clare Carver's hand-drawn label honors the winery's farm pigs Sam and Rick, who had “a great life, one bad moment”. Bright fruit flavors of berry candy, cranberry and black cherry are backed with tongue-tickling acids. The balanced tannins push the big bold fruit flavors right on through the finish, streaked with cola. Alcohol 14.1%. (Oct 2020)"

92.3 points CellarTracker.com community score.

91 points Wine & Spirits: "Lush and juicy as a bowl of sun-warmed cherries, this has just enough licorice depth of flavor and earthy tannins to back up its generous fruit. It could use a year in the cellar to knit; then serve with lamb. (Oct 2020)"

Producer notes: "This wine has generous fruit on the nose showing classic black cherry cranberry and a touch of cedar. There is a umami like minerality in the mid palate that is like a frame on which the bright jolly rancher like berry character hangs. The finish is opulent with both fruit and cola with soft tannins that linger on the palate just long enough to make you want another sip."
