91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2018 Vieilles Vignes cuvée from Jean-Claude and Romain Bessin had just been fined a short time before my visit, but was still showing nicely. The bouquet is bright and complex, offering up scents of pear, fresh lime, chalky minerality, orange zest and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and really rock solid at the core, with fine focus, cut and grip on the long, balanced and vibrant finish. This too is pretty forward in personality, but I might be inclined to let it have a year or two in the cellar to blossom just a bit more prior to starting to drink it in earnest. 2021-2045. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
