92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Fourchaume 2018 chez Bessin, is the most nicely structured and youthful of the premier crus up to this point in the lineup, offering up a youthfully complex nose of apple, citrus peel, a touch of tangerine, a lovely base of that “woodsy” Fourchaume soil tone and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and well-balanced, with a good girdle of acidity, a fine core of fruit and impressive focus and grip on the soil-driven finish that closes with a note of orange peel. Another fine premier cru in the making. 2024-2050. (Nov/Dec 2019)"

92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru has a crisp, crushed stone/wet limestone bouquet, very subtle but nicely focused. The palate is well balanced with green apple and pear on the entry, and quite saline and malic on the finish. This is imbued with impressive delineation. One of the best Fourchaumes of this vintage. Drink: 2022-2032. (Sep 2020)"

90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(this is essentially an old vines Fourchaume). Subtle but not invisible wood frames a similar array of aromas. Once again there is very good richness to the even more powerful and slightly denser flavors that reflect plenty of citrus influence on the clean, dry and slightly firmer finish. Drink: 2025+. (Oct 2019)"
