On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and well-balanced, with a good girdle of acidity, a fine core of fruit and impressive focus and grip on the soil-driven finish that closes with a note of orange peel. The palate is well balanced with green apple and pear on the entry, and quite saline and malic on the finish. This is imbued with impressive delineation. One of the best Fourchaumes of this vintage.
