92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Bertheau's 0.32 hectares have produced a beautiful 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses, a wine that bursts from the glass in a blaze of rose petals, violets, blood orange and raspberries. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and velvety, with a gourmand, layered core of fruit, melting tannins and a pure, fragrant finish. (Jan 2019)"

92 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .32 ha parcel). The beautifully layered nose offers another small step up in elegance and a large step up in aromatic complexity and spiciness to the essence of red pinot fruit and intense floral influence. The intense yet refined and lacy middle weight flavors brim with minerality while remaining classy and gracefully largely thanks to the very finely grained tannins shaping the saline, complex and sneaky long finish. This is firm yet harmonious; indeed the word finesse is an accurate descriptor. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2020)"
