92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Fixin Les Arvelets 1er Cru contains around 35% whole bunches. Despite a bit of reduction, it has a superb bouquet with vibrant black fruit mixed with crushed limestone. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, a fine bead of acidity, quite structured and compact towards the finish with a hint of brine on the aftertaste. A solid and firm Fixin, this deserves cellaring for several years. Drink: 2024-2042. (Dec 2020)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Medium deep purple with a racy nose partly inspired by the inclusion of a good third of whole bunches. Then the sweeter pure fruit comes out at the back of the palate, very lifted, with excellent balance and persistence. It is lightly in the raspberry register with the faintest of citrus touches. (Nov 2020)"

90-92 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "There is sufficient reduction to mask the underlying fruit today. Otherwise there is excellent underlying tension and beautiful delineation to the medium weight flavors that brim with minerality on the refined, linear and focused finale. This is a strikingly well-balanced Arvelets of finesse. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Here’s a little reductive combination of wc and barrel – attractive though. Once more a little extra concentration, the texture is beautiful for here. Concentrated but never losing the mouth-watering side. That’s an excellent Fixin again – but decant! (May 2021)"
