It reveals a medium ruby/plum color as well as beautiful notes of black cherries, ground pepper, sappy herbs, and hints of violets. Medium-bodied, elegant, with fine tannins and terrific balance, it's an outstanding example of California Grenache that's going to evolve for over a decade."
