It comes from a 1.13-hectare plot planted in 1951 in the village of Elvillar, a walled, old-vine plot located in what was the 15th-century village of San Lorenzo de Quintanilla on limestone and sandstone soils. The vineyard tends to produce powerful wines, and its grapes were always used to make the Pagos Viejos. It has some rugged tannins that give it a little rusticity, a character of the plot that tends to get stressed in warmer years. 2,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021. Drink: 2022-2027.
