This has a reserved but detailed bouquet, not as charming as Arlaud’s Chambolles but conveying a wonderful sense of mineralité. The palate is very detailed, with fine tannins that frame the layers of black cherry and raspberry fruit, and segues into a slightly peppery, very harmonious finish. This is wonderfully composed.
