96 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Appropriately for a domaine based in Morey-St-Denis, the Arlaud holdings are in the most northerly Premier Cru in Chambolle-Musigny and date back to the 1950s. It's a textbook example of the latter village, all finesse, aromatics and fine-grained tannins, with some sappy, spicy notes from 30% whole bunch fermentation, refreshing acidity and understated oak. Drinking Window: 2022-2028. (Oct 2018)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Rich dense dark purple black, with a reductive element. This is rather a striking wine. Starts as red fruit, has some blacker notes at the finish but kept very fresh by the whole bunch. A few blackberry notes with some pepper. (Nov 2019)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru is matured with 30% whole bunch and no new oak. It presents a mixture of red and black fruit aromas, quite floral and very pure in style and gaining intensity with continued aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins, perfectly pitched acidity and vivacious red fruit laced with orange peel and brown spices. Wonderful length here. Excellent. Just four barrels produced. Drink: 2023-2045. (Jan 2020)"
