91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru, containing 10% whole bunches, has an expressive, well-defined bouquet, the fruit a little darker than other Premier Crus from the domaine and hints of marmalade and quince surfacing with aeration. The taut, focused palate is quite effervescent on the entry, with a fine thread of acidity, but shows commendable depth on the orange zest and citrus-like finish. Great potential here. 92 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.15 ha parcel). Soft wood frames a fresh and cool blend of red cherry, spice, lavender and rose petal. The finer and more seductively textured flavors possess a caressing mouthfeel though less minerality yet the moderately austere, saline and bitter cherry suffused finish immediately tightens up to confirm that this too is going to require extended patience.
