Taking its name from the dominant peak among the mountains overlooking the heart of Speyside, Benrinnes Distillery was built in 1820. Benrinnes is yet another hidden gem of a Speyside distillery, mainly used for blending and occasionally seen in the Flora and Fauna series. Alexander Murray & Co. brings you this rare bottling of Benrinnes, distilled in 1995 spending 19 years in oak casks. Tasting notes: Deep golden in color, with a big, bold nose filled with sweet toffee biscuits and hints of smoke. On the palate it is well rounded with vanilla and caramel notes. The finish is soft and subtle, filled with hints of sweet barley sugar. Perfect for after dinner drinking.
