94 points Stephen Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Picked during three days in late September, the 2017 Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg is very intense but fresh and pure on the spicy-granitic nose. Very elegant and juicy on the palate, this is a highly concentrated, tightly structured Schlossberg with fine and crunchy tannins, great salinity and very good aging potential. Tasted October 2018. Drink: 2022-2040. (Oct 2018)"

93 points Ian D'Agata (Vinous): "Vivid straw-green. Captivating aromas of white flowers, peach and lemon oil. Broad and large on entry, then tighter and high in acidity, in the typical style of wines born of granite soils, featuring spicy flavors of apple, lime, pear minerals and anise. The long finish is vibrant and classically dry (8 g/L r.s. and 7.5 g/L total acidity). Drink: 2022-2030. (Jan 2019)"

92 points James Suckling: "This has impressively cut lime, apple and pear aromas with a gently flinty edge. The palate has a very sleek, fresh and composed shape. Nice linearity here. Lime and guava flavors hold well. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. (8/12/19)"
